It is weekend and I am ready for it! I planned to go to Salzburg and spend two eating, walking, sleeping. My body is asking for a break and this is what I will do. I will take the time for myself doing “nothing”. We live in such a chaotic world where there is almost no time for breaks, full of commitments, earands to run, friends to meet, jobs to get dome that no matter how much we want an evening off there will always be something that “needs to be done”. This is why, once in a while I take the time for myself to recover. We need to…

I am sick at home for the past two days. I think is a flu around here as most of my friends went through the same symptoms recently. Today I got a bit of strength and said to post my weekend outfit on the blog. I am recently very much into grey. I bought different pullovers, coats, hats, skirts,  and they are almost all different shades of grey. I think that it is the weather here in Vienna because I am generally more a color person. Or who knows, maybe my taste is changing 🙂 Photos by Marina Trocin

I have been seeing these hats around for a very long time> yet, I never even considered of buying one as I did not think they suit me. The other days I was visiting my friend Evelyn, and she had it… so I thought to myself “let’s try to give a twist to my outfit” Guess what? I fell in love with it that I went the day after to buy one for myself. Since then I have been wearing in continuously. If you follow me on instagram (kalancea) you surely noticed. I think the hat is the “cherry on the cake” for this outfit 🙂 what do you say?

I don’t know about you, but I am used to wear summer dresses and sandals and sunglasses in August. This year I have the feeling that Summer paid us a visit VERY shortly. I did not manage to wear all my Summer clothes… The past days I am wearing long pants with a scarf, an autumn coat and a hat 🙁 `so here it is…a very unusual summer outfit 🙂

In love with colors!!! I could wear them anytime, anywhere, and almost anyhow… If you open my closet you would barely see black or dark colors. No matter of the season I always wear colors. I like the energy, youthfulness, and brightness that they give/ create. I stumbled upon these pictures that we took before our trip to Moldavia and I wanted to share with you this look. This pair of pants is often used and I find it easier to combine than any pair of jeans I have 🙂 You can add any pastel color as well as any very strong color and it will look summerish and chic.…

Last week together with my love we went to visit my dear family and to do some material hunt for our business. We spend an incredible time there, and I must admit that my bf impressed me even more. Apart from this, I also made a change that I will reveal in my next posts about the trip. But now starting with the beginning, traveling there… I choose to wear an very easy look as we had a long evening ahead of us. We took the flight from Vienna to Bucharest, and from there we met my mum and got in the overnight train to Moldavia. I know what you…

I recently got obsessed with STRIPES. I was looking these days in my wardrobe and I realized that I have quite a big number of items. I have dresses, blazers, t-shirts, blouses, skirts … I am missing some pants (on my wish list already). Why do I love them? Simply because they are always in. They are a must have in your closet, especially the t-shirt and blouse. So easy to combine to a skirt (especially the pencil ones), to jeans, to black pants, to shorts. This combination would guarantee a gorgeous and comfy look. By adding also some statement jewelery (especially a statement necklace) you are guaranteed an absolutely FAB…

Usually when I come back from work I am super exhausted, and I exhaust myself even more by not leaving my work and “to do” lists in the office. I used to spend many evenings like that and not enjoying the free time. I believe that even if you are a workaholic  and you are striving for a professional goal in your life, you need to enjoy the things that life offers you.  Such as a walk outside, doing sports, meeting with friends, going to a museum, cooking a fancy dish, reading a book that you always wanted to read, creating things, meditating, listening to music and dance in front…

    LIFE BALL 2013

Yesterday I had an amazing time. Thanks to RealLifeConnect I got the change to go for the first time to Life Ball in Vienna. WOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The venue Rathaus was such an amazing place for this celebration. The organization was perfect!!! Amazing people, amazing music, amazing atmosphere! I honestly have no words to describe it! Together with my friend Andreea, we were chosen by RealLifeConnect to take pictures of the guests and the highlights during the entire event. Each picture was immediately sent to an iPad for review and then sent to the guests within seconds to their e-mail addresses. Such a cool idea, isn’t it? You can find below a…

I LOVE being a child again!!! Having no worries, eating cotton candy, running like a maniac after clowns and colorful machines… This is what I’ve done some weeks ago when Anca was visiting me. We decided to spend an afternoon in Prater, the fun park in Vienna (if your are her go and spend a day there…will have so much fun). We went in almost every single possible dangerous fun machine, as well as in the most hilarious ones…we avoided the horror ones (I am too scared) I only did a small mistake that day… I decided that I want to be comfy, fitting to the mood there, flexible, but…
