The ones who know me very well, they know I am not the sporty type of person. I enjoy my time eating and sleeping.
During my youth I did ballet and different types of dance, but moving all the time around Europe, I stopped at one point and never thought of starting it again. Two years ago I took for the first time a personal trainer hoping that he will motivate me. I did train almost for a year, and I could see the results, still I was way to lazy to properly do the exercised and all that the trainer wanted from me (I think that he secretly was very happy when I stopped – hahaha). In between I started to do Kayla program and go to pole dance classes (which I love by the way). Still I did not feel like I was doing very well on any, plus I couldn’t get my boyfriend into doing pole dance with me and we really wanted to do sports together.
In the meantime my boyfriend started training at Crossbox. He kept on coming home super happy and motivated and I was a bit jealous on him. I also wanted to enjoy sports. I remember the day in April when I noticed (after 3 months of hard training) the results on him. That moment I send an email to the Crossbox and asked if I could join for a lesson and see if it can be something suitable for me.
I still remember the first training where I thought ‘OMG these people are so fit and crazy!’. I couldn’t imagine doing what they did. I was so full of adrenaline after that hour that I decided to roll on. I am now ‘celebrating’ 3 months since I am there and I LOVE it. I like the fact that there is a little community of people motivating one another and pushing the limits. Don’t think that I am going there always with a smile on my face, but I definitely leave with one after. It is the first sport that I keep on enjoying no matter how hard sometimes is. Now I am definitely on the right track to what I was looking for, and I can have my man by my side challenging and competing on the weights we work with, or the time we manage to finish the workout of the day.
